A Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, there was a nice girl who went on a field trip with her lit class. The day started out nicely enough...loud, obnoxious singing on the bus, a get-out-of-school-free card...but, upon arrival at the magical land of SLU, she was horrified to meet a whiny, annoying librarian who talked down to the students and treated them like they were babies. She even asked them if they knew how the Dewey decimal system worked! Oh, the horror. Then, she instructed them on how to use the computers, making them all search for the same topics so that the poor stupid children wouldn't mess anything up. The only salvation in sight seemed to be lunch, a shining beacon on the terrible journey...the girl and her friends stared at the clock as they wandered around the library, getting lost and playing Titanic in the library's third class basement. If only, if only time would move faster...only half an hour left....
