Two More Weeks...
Basically I'm kind of ticked off because this whiny girl in my journalism class ripped off my idea for a story, and now I have to find an alternate subject. Meh. Anyone know any cool famous people that I can interview and do a profile on? Not majorly famous, mind you, but the author of a good book or something...anything...hey, does anyone have God's phone number? Ehhh and it was so HOT here today...really gross...and my scene from A Midsummer Night's Dream did not go at all as planned. Really pitiful, to tell the truth. And I have to read Troilus and Cressida before Thursday...apparently it's good, but we shall see. Blah and there is lot's of SAT stuff to look over. I know I know, I am complaining, but I get to because I said so. So there. Two parts of my day were actually good -- the plan that me and Camille and Josh are going to get crepes tomorrow before we re-rehearse our scene, and the fact that I just got a first edition, advance copy of Rebel Angels, the sequel to A Great and Terrible Beauty, off of ebay. The coolness is that it does not come out until August 23. This made me very happy, ie. dance around my dorm room singing Aretha Franklin songs at the top of my lungs and in my Pooh bear boxers. Everything else today, though...wow...the scariest is probably the glimpse of the Harvard application. Can you say "The Exorcist?", because I would fully rather be made to watch that movie continuously than tackle that knot of deceptively difficult and categorically double-edged questions that is the Harvard admissions application. Ehh. This is so the last time I spout my brilliant ideas to whiny Boston girls who pretend they don't know how to say the letter 'R'. Hence the whole "Hahvahd" thing. And yeah, I sooo bought a shirt that says that. Natalie
